Joe is a seasoned leader of people, teams, and processes. His achievements demonstrate flexibility, a quick learning curve, and technical excellence. He has held senior management positions in several large, complex organizations, successfully carrying out challenging, highly visible assignments.
Joe was formerly a vice president of operations at Shaw Environmental. During his time with Shaw, he was instrumental in major project proposal efforts, including a $750 million design/build firm-fixed-price civil works project for the New Orleans District of USACE.
Prior to his time with Shaw Environmental, Joe held senior management positions with AECOM, the Detroit Medical Center, and Barton Malow. He also spent significant time with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and was involved with a variety of assignments of increasing responsibilities. His experience formed a solid foundation of leadership and management skills.
Joe received a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial technology from Ohio University. He also received a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Oklahoma, as well as a Master of Science degree in construction management from Ohio State University.
Joe is certified in construction management and healthcare construction. He is also a licensed professional engineer in the states of Michigan and Ohio.
Joe is affiliated with the Construction Management Association of America, the American Society for Healthcare Engineering, the American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Society of American Military Engineers.
