Experience

In her role as principal, Erica brings over 20 years’ experience executing complex commercial real estate transactions and managing corporate real estate portfolios to Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran Cresa. Her expertise encompasses tenant representation, acquisition, disposition, and workplace strategy consulting.

Erica current manages several corporate portfolios, including the global portfolio of Dana, Inc. For the last twelve years, she has been a leading member of the team responsible for the real estate strategy and acquisition of more than 200 acres of land for Little Caesars Arena in the city of Detroit and the overarching 50-block District Detroit program composed of significant office, retail, and residential development.

Prior to joining Plante Moran Realpoint, Erica was a senior vice president and co-leader of brokerage in the Detroit office for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), responsible for managing the North American real estate portfolio for Procter & Gamble and XEROX. In 2011, she was recognized as one of the “top 50 women leaders” in the firm. Prior to her time with JLL, Erica was a broker for Trammell Crow and spent two years as national transaction manager on the Volkswagen of America and Lear accounts. She began her career as an associate attorney with the national law firm of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP, specializing in tax and real estate law.

Erica received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and a juris doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. She is a licensed real estate salesperson in Michigan and a licensed attorney in Texas. Erica has several CoStar Power Broker awards , a distinction that honors the top transactions in commercial real estate.

Erica has been an impact leader in Plante Moran’s Women in Leadership program since its inception, and she is a member of the Urban Land Institute and graduate of Detroit’s inaugural class of the Larson Center for Leadership program, a curriculum designed to train and mentor the next generation of real estate and land use leaders in Michigan.
