Experience

As a senior vice president, Gordon brings 13 years of investment and asset management experience to Plante Moran Realpoint (PMR), formerly Plante Moran REIA. Gordon provides expert guidance regarding property valuation, risk analysis, capital allocation strategy, asset value maximization, and contractual agreements.

While Gordon is analytical and data-driven, he also enjoys building and maintaining long-term relationship with his clients. His focus is primarily on seniors housing transactions with clients ranging from individual high-net-worth investors to institutional owner/operators, family offices, and pension funds to religious institutes and foundations.

Prior to joining PMR, Gordon focused on seniors housing acquisitions at Green Courte Partners (GCP), a Chicago-based private equity real estate firm. Prior to GCP, he worked in various roles including acquisitions, asset management, development, and property management across multiple asset classes at Westside Investment Partners, a Denver-based private real estate firm.

Earlier in his career, Gordon advised high-net-worth individuals and mid-sized institutions on asset allocation strategies, leveraged investing, and wealth planning solutions at J.P. Morgan. Additionally, he managed trading portfolios consisting of interest rate derivatives at the Chicago Board of Trade.

Gordon holds a BSBA in finance and international business from Washington University in St. Louis. He has Series 7, Series 63, and Illinois real estate broker licenses. Gordon is an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) and a board member of Canine Therapy Corps.
