Sadie Mayle named to the AICPA’s Governmental Audit Quality Center executive committee

Principal Sadie Mayle has been appointed to serve on the executive committee of the AICPA Governmental Audit Quality Center.

We’re pleased to announce that Sadie Mayle has been appointed to serve on the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Governmental Audit Quality Center (GAQC) executive committee effective May 2024. Sadie will serve a three-year term. In this role, Sadie will help promote the quality of governmental audits with a strong focus on single audits.

Plante Moran is a founding member of the GAQC. The GAQC’s mission is to promote the importance of governmental audit quality, the value of such audits to purchasers of governmental audit services, and to improve the overall quality of governmental audits, including single audits and other compliance audits performed under various federal audit guides.

Sadie is a principal with more than 15 years of experience serving not-for-profit, higher education, and healthcare clients. As a member of the firm’s technical standards team, she conducts engagement quality reviews for all impacted industries as well as oversees the development of firm guidance, internal trainings, and technical tools on relevant technical topics.
