Toledo, Ohio, Sept. 16, 2026 — Plante Moran, a global accounting, tax, consulting and wealth management firm, has moved its Toledo-area office to a newly renovated space in downtown Sylvania. After more than 40 years of serving the Toledo market, this relocation reflects the strength and momentum of the local team, and the firm’s continued investment in its people, clients and relationships throughout Northwest Ohio.
The Toledo team has begun operating from the top floor of 5470 Main Street as of Sept. 16, 2026. Designed with the team’s future in mind, the office will provide room for continued growth while introducing a more open and flexible way of working.
“For us, this move is about much more than a new address. It represents how far our team has come and the opportunities we see ahead,” said Kristin Hunt, Plante Moran’s Toledo office managing partner. “We have an experienced, close-knit group of professionals who are growing in their careers, taking on new leadership opportunities and bringing tremendous energy to the work we do. This space gives us an environment that matches that momentum.”
The new layout will replace the office’s more traditional configuration with standing workstations and collaborative areas where teams can work together more easily. Flexible meeting spaces, including a large multipurpose area that can also function as a café, will give staff more opportunities to connect while expanding the office’s ability to welcome clients and host meetings, events and community organizations.
The design is particularly well suited for Plante Moran’s apprenticeship-based approach to developing staff. By creating spaces where people can work side by side, exchange ideas and learn from one another, the office will help the Toledo team continue building the next generation of professionals.
“Our culture is one of the things that makes this office special,” Hunt said. “Our staff know and support one another, celebrate each other’s successes and genuinely enjoy working together. That sense of connection also shapes the experience we provide to our clients. The new office will help us preserve that close-knit environment as our team continues to grow.”
That culture has earned the Toledo office consistent recognition from its staff. In February 2026, The Toledo Blade named Plante Moran one of its 2025 Top Workplaces, marking the firm’s 13th consecutive year on the list. Plante Moran ranked No. 2 in the large company category and also received the publication’s special award for “Direction,” recognizing the confidence staff place in the direction of the firm.
The Toledo team’s continued growth and commitment to the market is powered by strong local relationships with access to the resources and specialized capabilities of a global firm. Its professionals serve organizations in Northwest Ohio and across the country, including businesses in manufacturing and distribution, construction and other industries important to the regional economy.
“We’re proud to be part of the Toledo community,” Hunt said. “We have the people, experience and depth of resources to help local organizations address today’s needs and prepare for what comes next. This move is an opportunity to build on that foundation and begin an exciting new phase for our office.”
