I was attracted to this career because I can interact with companies around the world that operate across interesting industries and business models. I also enjoy being able to help clients navigate their needs on financial matters which range from audit and tax to net working capital, opening balance sheet, and international consulting, among others.
My clients appreciate that I’m understanding, responsive, know how to navigate complex technical matters, and can have a well-rounded discussion regarding all their service area needs. Around the office, I’m known for my focus and expertise in internationally active and private equity-owned clients and my manufacturing and distribution industry concentration.
With nearly 15 years of professional experience, I consider my greatest accomplishments to be helping grow the firm’s international practice while building relationships around the world.
I’m a member of the AICPA, the Michigan Association of CPAs, and the Detroit chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. I’ve spoken at Praxity North America conferences on common differences between U.S. GAAP and IFRS and the Detroit chapter of the Turnaround Management Association on distressed companies from a CPA’s perspective. I received both my B.A. and M.S. in accounting from Michigan State University.
When I’m not helping clients, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and playing ice hockey, golf, and soccer.
