As a leader in the firm’s investment fund practice, I work closely with fund managers to find tax planning opportunities and advise clients on tax-efficient structuring and meeting the needs of their investors. I specialize in tax compliance and consulting for investment funds such as private equity funds, venture capital funds, and hedge funds.

I serve as my clients’ quarterback for all things Plante Moran. My clients see me as their main point of contact and appreciate my responsiveness to their issues. When they face a challenge, I take it on as my own and make sure to have the best firm members on the team.

I grew up working in a family business and learned the importance of relationships and how to help people solve their problems. I’ve translated this into my career today; my clients appreciate that I understand their needs and work to provide practical solutions. My experience in the fund world allows me to proactively anticipate client needs.

With more than 10 years of professional experience, I consider watching my team develop as one of the greatest parts of my job.

I’ve hosted various webinars, including the impact of TCJA on investment funds. Most recently, I co-hosted a webinar on strategic tax planning and the impact of the proposed 2021 tax law changes. I’ve hosted multiple internal tax trainings on various investment fund topics. I’m a member of the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, the New York Society of CPAs, and the Association for Corporate Growth. I received a B.S. in accounting from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master’s degree of taxation from Villanova University.
