Experience
As a principal in our assurance practice, I help manufacturing and distribution clients navigate the ever-evolving international business landscape, through accounting, financial reporting, and other business-related needs. The manufacturing and distribution companies I specialize in are internationally active and have varied ownership structures, including internationally-owned, private equity-owned, and owner-managed.
Clients appreciate my proactive, attentive, and collaborative approach to service. I’m naturally curious, which leads to good conversations with clients that develop into strong relationships.
Around the office, I’m known as a resource on technical matters and as a mentor to many of our team members.
I was originally attracted to economics, but quickly realized accounting is essentially applied economics. What I didn’t realize is that the “public” in public accounting would be so team-focused, and that’s what keeps me coming back each day. With more than 10 years of experience, my favorite accomplishments are seeing the team succeed and helping clients work through the inevitable pains that come with growth and expansion.
I earned my B.A. and M.S. in accounting from Michigan State University and am a member of the AICPA and the MICPA.
Outside of work, my wife and I love exploring new places and things. When left to my own devices, you’ll likely find me reading a book, playing golf, or playing hockey.
