Brandon Harris

As a principal in our tax practice, I serve privately held and closely held businesses and individuals in the financial services and services industries. I have extensive experience in partnership, corporate, and individual taxation, including entity structuring, capital allocations, and tax planning. Clients appreciate that I listen carefully, understand their challenges, and align my support with their business goals. I’ve had the opportunity to speak with startup entities about topics concerning first year deductions and entity structuring for qualified small business stock requirements.

With more than a decade in public accounting, I was drawn to this career because I enjoy helping people, especially with tax returns. It’s a rewarding experience to support others and ease the burden of a complex and often stressful process. Around the office, colleagues know me for being a resource on technical matters and taking the time to educate others.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in accounting from the University of Northern Colorado, and I’m a member of the AICPA and the Colorado Society of CPAs. I also serve as treasurer on the board for Childsafe Colorado, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the cycle and healing the trauma resulting from childhood abuse and neglect through specialized treatment, education, and community outreach.

Outside of work, my family and I enjoy attending events by locally owned businesses in Colorado — we’re always on the lookout for something new to participate in with our community.
