I recently started woodworking, and so far, I’ve made a coffee table and dining table for my home.

Senior Manager

I lead our public sector technology consulting services for the west coast, championing technology and business process improvement projects across the western United States. I provide objective guidance during projects related to software advisory, software implementation assistance, technology assessments and strategic planning, and process improvement.

My client base includes local government and special districts, such as cities, counties, and public utilities. Clients appreciate that I provide candid guidance and practical recommendations in an approachable manner (along with great restaurant picks!). At the office, I’m known for always making time to support those who need help.

I was attracted to this career for three reasons: 1) the opportunity to help public sector clients improve their processes and technology so they can enjoy their day-to-day more and serve their constituents better; 2) the unique challenges we can help our clients resolve each day; and 3) finding new and practical ways to utilize technology in the public sector.

I have more than 10 years of experience at the firm. My greatest accomplishment is building a network of colleagues and clients in the West that are focused on collaborating to better serve the public.

I belong to the Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA), California Society for Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO), Colorado Government Finance Officers Association (CGFOA), GovAI Coalition, and Municipal Information Systems Association of California (MISAC). I’ve recently spoken at a variety of industry events, including a public sector training on ERP implementation readiness that I led in Berkeley, Calif. I also presented “Optimize your ERP software or replace it” at the CGFOA annual conference and “IT governance built to last” at the MISAC annual conference. I earned my B.B.A. from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors. I like to photograph wildlife, woodwork, and camp with my wife, young son, and our chocolate lab, Bean. When I travel, you can find me at a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, state or national park, or with a good cup of coffee.
