I’m responsible for audit engagements from start to finish, which means I plan and identify risks, manage the audit team, connect with clients, and work through complex issues when they arise, all to meet our clients’ financial statement issuance. Most of my clients are in the service industry, most notably consumer goods and services, and they tend to be franchisors, franchisees, and independent multiunit concepts — and many of them are private equity-owned.
I was originally attracted to this career because no two days are the same, and I’m constantly learning new things and meeting new people. Colleagues know me for having an open door and being willing to listen and help solve problems.
I have more than 10 years’ experience. I belong to the MICPA and AICPA. I earned a B.B.A. and M.S. from Michigan State.
Outside of work, I spend my free time with my husband and two daughters. I love to travel.
