I help clients and owners of small to midsize businesses navigate through the constant changes in tax law, and I also serve individual tax clients with trust filings and work with their advisors (attorneys, financial advisors) to provide a collaborative approach to their tax and advisory services.
With more than 20 years of experience, I count a leadership role of a specialty focus within the firm’s tax department as one of my greatest accomplishments. At the office, I enjoy the “people” aspect of this career and feel the most satisfied knowing I’m helping make a difference with our staff and in our clients’ goals through tax planning and advisory services. I take a genuine interest in the development of staff to help them achieve success in their career.
I belong to the AICPA and MICPA. I earned my B.B.A. in accounting from Eastern Michigan University. I earned an M.S. in taxation from Walsh College.
When I’m not at work, I’m a game show enthusiast, even the old reruns. I enjoy listening to audiobooks and podcasts, especially documentaries and autobiographies. My favorite time is time spent with my husband and sons.
