Experience

Over the course of my career at Plante Moran, I’ve held a number of leadership positions, most recently serving as a member of the firm’s six-person management team. In that role, I oversaw the key administrative areas of the firm, including human resources, technology, and internal accounting. I also served on the board of P&M Corporate Finance, a boutique investment bank and firm affiliate, and I chaired the firm's retirement plan advisory committee.

As a member of the technology management working group, I was part of the design team that developed our performance management system and the colleague partnering model that’s still in use today. I've served on the strategic planning committee and as managing partner of the firm’s Southfield office, our largest location with about 500 staff.

I've gotten to know many of those staff members well, since colleagues often seek my expertise as a mentor. I find working with our staff incredibly rewarding. I'm heavily involved in our campus recruiting efforts and honored to teach our "Spirit and Principles” class, which helps new members of the firm learn about the culture that's been driving us and our growth for the past 90+ years.

On the client side, throughout my career, I've served and mentored many entrepreneurial clients in the manufacturing, construction and service areas, and I continue to work with some of the firm's longstanding clients.

I earned my bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and have served on the advisory board of MSU's Department of Accounting.
