Evan Dylla
Principal CPAExperience
As a principal in our financial services practice, I focus on conducting financial statement audits for investment funds, including private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds — a specialization that suits my 15 plus years of experience in the accounting industry.
Clients appreciate my responsiveness, thoughtful communication, and ability to anticipate their needs before they arise. Whether guiding a fund through its first audit or managing ongoing engagements, I bring steady, solutions-oriented mindset to every interaction. I was drawn to accounting because of my desire to serve others — not only as a trusted advisor, but also as a mentor, teacher, and team builder. Around the office, I’m known for leading with empathy and clarity, and for creating a positive team culture while developing others through individualized mentorship. I thrive on building people up and fostering a collaborative environment, both within the firm and in service to our clients.
I’m a CPA and hold a B.S. in accounting and finance from the University of Kansas. I’m also an active member of the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, and the New York Society of CPAs. I’m frequently asked to speak to clients, boards, and their committees on emerging industry trends, evolving accounting standards, and best practices.
Outside of work, I find my greatest joy with my wife and two young boys. From building imaginative worlds in Minecraft and hitting golf balls, to shooting hoops in the backyard, I love creating fun, meaningful moments with my family.
