Dave is a Plante Moran audit partner specializing in the governmental and retail auto dealership industries. With nearly 25 years of experience serving these industries, he understands the key issues and drivers in all economic cycles and provides critical insights to allow his clients to stay ahead of industry trends.

A member of the firm’s Professional Standards Team, Dave is known as an industry technician who works through complex issues, breaks them down, and provides practical solutions. Recently, he spent significant time assisting his governmental clients with Act 312 proceedings and guiding his auto dealer clients through tax planning related to the expiring estate tax credits.

Dave is often asked to present to governmental organizations. In January, he hosted an "Ask the Auditor" session at the Michigan Township Association Annual Conference and presented a “GASB Update” session at the Michigan Municipal League Annual Conference. Dave has a B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University.
