Headshot of Jeremy Louters

I passed out crossing the Riverbank Run’s finish line (15.6 miles) and had to receive medical attention. A picture of this infamous event was memorialized on the front page of our newspaper’s sports section — much to the delight of my friends and family.

Experience

I specialize in providing audit and review services to businesses with various ownership models, including closely held, private equity, franchisees or franchisors, and internationally active businesses in the manufacturing industry, as well as various sectors within the service industry, such as consumer goods, retail, technology companies, and architecture and engineering firms. Additionally, I provide due diligence and general business consulting services.

With colleagues and clients, I’m known as a people person. I love working in teams and getting to know my clients. I love our people-centric culture and the opportunity to develop strong relationships with clients and staff. My clients appreciate that I provide a personal touch, and I’m always willing to go the extra mile to meet their needs and talk through their concerns.

I often speak to my clients and their management teams or audit committees on financial statements and general accounting topics. I belong to the AICPA and the MICPA. I’m the treasurer of Baxter Community Center, a loan committee member of Partners Worldwide, and an advisory board member of Calvin College’s Masters of Accountancy Program. I received my B.S. in accountancy from Calvin University.

Outside of work, I try to get out on the basketball court or golf course as much as possible. However, you’ll more likely find me on any given playground chasing my three young daughters around.
