Experience
As a principal in our assurance practice with over a decade of experience, I specialize in accounting, financial reporting, and addressing business-related matters for private equity-owned, family-held, and closely held businesses. My client base spans manufacturing, distribution, and service industries, as well as the benefit plan industry.
Clients appreciate my logical and pragmatic approach to solving highly complex business issues, and I’m known for my responsiveness and ability to help them find solutions to their unique challenges. I was attracted to auditing commercial clients due to the ever-changing business environment and the opportunity to make a significant impact for my clients.
Around the office, colleagues know me as a strong technical resource – always happy to discuss specific situations or technical matters and assist in finding reasonable solutions. One of my greatest accomplishments has been developing our staff to provide outstanding client service and creative solutions.
I earned both my B.A. in accounting and my master’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University. I hold a CPA certification and am a proud member of the AICPA, MICPA, and ACG New York.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters, often at our cottage where we indulge in swimming, boating, and exploring the local town.
