PartnerExperience
With a specialty in public sector, I provide consulting services to cities, counties, townships, villages, school districts, and governmental authorities. As a member of the firm’s Government Accounting Professionals (PMGAP) group, I provide permanent and temporary accounting assistance for all types of public sector organizations.
Our goal is to restore financial stability in challenging situations, whether we serve as finance directors, budget directors, or accountants. Our public sector clients also value our ability to provide additional capacity when needed or be their accountant of record partner. My reliability ensures clients trust my expertise in bank reconciliations, budget creation, year-end close, audit preparation, daily accounting, long-term financial forecasting, and utility rate modeling.
My father was an accountant, and this area of business always intrigued me. I knew I needed a profession where I could serve others. Public accounting was a perfect marriage of accounting and client service. I’m confident my clients recognize my dedication to — and enjoyment of — this career. I have a strong passion for serving them, and I deeply care about their mission and success. They know I can help solve their problems and move their departments and projects forward.
I’m a member of the AICPA, the Michigan Association of CPAs, the Colorado Government Finance Officers Association, and the Michigan Government Finance Officers Association. I earned a B.B.A. in accounting and finance and an M.S. in accounting from the University of Michigan – Dearborn.
I spend my free time with my immediate and extended family. I love watching my kids play sports. I never saw myself as a soccer mom, but it’s a title I’m proud to have. Seeing them enjoy and grow in the sport always makes me smile.
