I provide holistic advice on to how best to structure an investment portfolio to achieve one’s goals, given all aspects of a client’s balance sheet. This includes asset allocation and other financial modeling, creating investment and spending policies, manager search & selection, and performance evaluations.
My clients appreciate my nearly 30 years of experience and my deep, technical knowledge of investment consulting and wealth management. I sincerely enjoy making a difference in people’s lives. And it’s not only about improving their investment performance, but rather helping them to better understand how to plan for the future, and aligning their goals with an appropriate strategy to achieve them.
I started with PMFA in 1991, and have been blessed to work with talented partners and staff who have allowed us to grow from 12 people to over 180 today. We’re known as one of the strongest and most respected registered investment advisory firms in the country. I continue to enjoy being a part of our leadership team that sets our business strategy and growth goals, and fosters staff development at the firm.
I often speak with clients, boards, and at various conferences on a wide swath of investment- and institutional-related topics including hedge funds, alternative investments, and socially responsible investing. I was named to Crain's Detroit Business’s “40 under 40” in 2004 and Barron's “Top 100 Independent Financial Advisors” in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014. I have a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
