Experience
As a principal in Plante Moran’s international tax services practice, I consult on global structuring, foreign tax credits, tax treaties, and a broad range of international compliance requirements. The majority of my clients are middle-market, privately held organizations across the service industry. I also co-lead the firm’s international private client practice, advising globally active individuals and high-net-worth families on complex cross-border tax considerations. My goal is to help clients minimize global tax exposure while maintaining practical and sustainable compliance strategies that align with their long-term objectives.
As a former Division II collegiate swimmer, I competed in the individual medley. I bring the same discipline, resilience, and team-oriented mindset to my client relationships that I developed in the pool. I’m known for my collaborative approach and ability to simplify complex technical issues for clients navigating international growth.
I received both my B.S. and M.S. in accounting from Wayne State University, and I’m a member of the AICPA and MICPA.
Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and four young children. During Michigan summers, you’ll find us swimming, tubing, or skiing at the family cottage up north.
