Headshot of Mike Abramo.

I’m from Cleveland, and I attended Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals in Oakland, CA, with my younger brother to witness the Cleveland Cavaliers defeat the Golden State Warriors and win Cleveland’s first championship in more than 50 years.

Experience

I provide assurance, tax, and business consulting services to owner-managed and private equity-owned organizations. My primary focus is serving clients in the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries (including retailers, restaurants, and food service companies).

In my work with private equity firms, I help business owners with various phases of M&A transactions, including financial due diligence, tax structuring, enterprise valuation, and purchase accounting. In the food and beverage space, I strive to become trusted advisor to businesses across the supply chain – from “farm to fork.”

I was originally drawn to the accounting profession because of the culture and the people, and I haven’t been let down. My clients are tremendous business leaders, and I am motivated on a daily basis to provide exceptional service, be responsive and proactive to their needs, and help get their business to the next level.

In 2021, I was named to Columbus Business First’s “40 Under 40” list, which recognizes the region’s best and brightest young community leaders. I belong to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of CPAs (OSCPA), the Ohio Manufacturing Association (OMA), the Columbus Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), and the Association for Corporate Growth. I also volunteer with the Greater Columbus Sports Commission and Cornerstone of Hope. My education includes a B.S.B.A. and M.S. of accounting from The Ohio State University.

On a personal level, I enjoy reading, sports, and spending time with my family.
