As a lead partner in the firm’s insurance services group, I offer assurance, tax, and consulting assistance to property and casualty and health insurers, self-insurance pools, and domestic- and foreign-domiciled captive insurance companies.
I also specialize in the construction industry, with clients ranging from asphalt paving companies to bridge builders to general and specialty trade contractors. In a sense, all of my clients are builders — they work every day to build a safer world.
Clients appreciate my deep industry knowledge because it helps them make informed decisions. And my no-nonsense approach means no surprises, timely responses, and a high-quality product.
Around the office, colleagues know me not only for my industry expertise, but also as a mentor and coach. I enjoy learning about people and sharing my experiences. I love mentoring and coaching people to help them achieve success. In fact, my desire to help others succeed personally and professionally is what attracted me to an accounting career.
I belong to the AICPA and the MICPA. I’m also a member of the Insurance Accounting & Systems Association, the Association of Governmental Risk Pools, and the Public Risk Management Association. I often give presentations to clients and industry observers about topics related to accounting, tax, and ethics. I have a B.B.A with a concentration in accounting from the University of Michigan -Dearborn.
Outside the workplace, I live an active life. My daughters keep me very busy with soccer, dance, gymnastics, and school activities. I thoroughly enjoy traveling with my family. I also like working out and reading.
