Kimber is an assurance partner with Plante Moran’s manufacturing and distribution practice. Her client base includes closely-held and family-owned for-profit manufacturing, distribution, and service companies ranging from $10 million to $600 million in annual sales.

Kimber is considered an expert on accounting and reporting matters related to employee benefit plans and is involved in the development of the firm’s employee benefit plan financial statement audit approach. She performs firmwide pre-issuance quality control review on employee benefit plan financial statements to ensure that professional standards are maintained in practices. She is also a member of the Benefit Plan Leadership Team, which is responsible for preparing, coordinating, and facilitating the firm’s industry-wide benefit plan audit technical training and update sessions.

Kimber has more than 16 years of experience in manufacturing and distribution and employee benefit plans. This expertise has led to Kimber presenting at the AICPA’s National Conference on Employees Benefits Plans, MACPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Conference, and for American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries’ meeting.

Kimber has a B.A. in accounting from Eastern Michigan University.
