Variety is the spice of life. I love this career for the number of different clients I have with their own unique problems to solve, the different teams I’m fortunate to work with, and the different roles that I’m able to serve within our office.
In the more than 10 years I’ve been with the firm, what has meant the most to me during my tenure is watching staff that I’ve worked with develop, succeed, and be promoted. It’s humbling and satisfying that I’ve been a recipient of internal John Zuiderveen “High 5” award. Nominated by co-workers, I was chosen for demonstrating qualities of pioneering, commitment, and enthusiasm.
I belong to the AICPA and the Michigan Association of CPAs, and I’m on the program committee for the West Michigan chapter of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). I received my B.S. in professional accountancy from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Mich.
My free time is spent with my husband, our two kids, friends, and other family. We enjoy travelling and spending as much time on the lake as possible during Michigan summers.
