Stacy Reynolds
Principal CPAExperience
As a principal, I assess risk and provide practical recommendations for clients to streamline processes and strengthen internal control and financial reporting. I specialize in complex accounting topics, including business combination accounting, revenue recognition, and complex debt and equity financing transactions. Working primarily with private equity or venture capital-owned technology and business services companies, I help clients throughout their life cycle, beginning with strong financial reporting foundations and providing forward-looking guidance as they prepare for future transactions and exit readiness. Additionally, I serve as one of the firm’s benefit plan specialists on 401(k) audits.
My clients value the way I work closely with them to understand their needs and help solve their problems. That love of problem-solving is what first drew me to accounting, and after more than a decade with the firm, it’s still one of the things I enjoy most about my work. Around the office, colleagues know me as a reliable resource on client matters and as a proud steward of our firm’s culture.
I earned my B.S. in accountancy and my M.B.A. from Dominican University. I’m also a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the Illinois CPA Society, and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
Outside of work, I enjoy playing and coaching basketball.
