In addition, as clients look for assistance in identifying unknown areas of concern, I follow our team’s seven-point cybersecurity assessment process, as well as general cybersecurity consulting in a variety of areas.
I originally planned to be a financial auditor, following in the footsteps of many CPAs in my extended family. As I began to learn about the world of IT auditing, I was quickly drawn to the world of cybersecurity in my initial work at Plante Moran and have never looked back. I enjoy working with clients year-over-year, continuing conversations outside IT audits to help with security questions as part of ongoing discussions.
I received a B.A. in accounting and information systems and an M.S. in accounting and information systems from Michigan State University. I’m also a member of ISACA-Western Michigan Chapter, FS-ISAC and the MICPA.
