Anthony Belloli named CEO of Plante Moran Trust

Effective July 1, Anthony Belloli assumed the role of CEO of Plante Moran Trust, which specializes in all areas of personal trust administration.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., July 12, 2017 –– Plante Moran Trust is pleased to announce that, effective July 1, Anthony Belloli assumed the role of CEO of the chartered trust company, which specializes in all areas of personal trust administration.

In his new role, Belloli will guide the strategic direction of Plante Moran Trust while leading a team of more than 30 trust professionals responsible for the administration of personal trusts and foundations, settlement of estates, and management of family office-bill pay arrangements.

Prior to joining Plante Moran Trust, Anthony was a senior advisor with Plante Moran Financial Advisors for seven years, where he provided investment consulting, as well as financial, estate tax, and income tax advice to high net worth individuals, families, and endowments/foundations. In 2009, he moved to Plante Moran Trust to help grow the practice by developing and implementing a plan and culture that would attract and develop talented staff, nurture referral sources, and improve internal processes. Since then, the organization’s annual revenue and assets have quadrupled and its number of staff has tripled.

Belloli assumes the role of CEO from Gary Johnson, who joined the firm to start Plante Moran Trust in 2002 and will retire in June 2018.

Belloli graduated Summa Cum Laude from Oakland University in 2002 with a bachelor’s of science degree in finance and a minor in applied technology in business. He graduated from Wayne State University in 2005 with a master’s degree in business administration. He’s a Certified Financial Planner Professional, a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor, and a Certified Investment Management Analyst. He’s also a graduate of the ABA Trust School.

Belloli resides in Oakland Township.
