We’re happy to announce that Plante Moran has again ranked in the top 10 on Construction Executive’s 2022 The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms™ list for the third consecutive year. The list was compiled by U.S. construction accounting firms submitting data, including construction practice revenue, number of CPAs in the practice, number of clients/offices, and more.

In a special Executive Insights, partner and construction industry leader, Shane Brown, the real estate and construction industry group leader for the firm, discussed key considerations for succession planning.

“When the time comes for succession planning, owners should ask, ‘What are the most important aspects of succession to me?’ Is it legacy, money, or time? Is family ownership important? Is management/employee ownership important? Or perhaps it’s a mix of these priorities. The answers to these questions will guide the succession options for companies to create a highly intentional and successful succession plan.”

Plante Moran was also in the top 10 of Construction Executive’s 2021 and 2020 The Top 50 Construction Accounting Firms™ list.
