As the real estate and construction industry group leader for the firm, I work with an experienced group of experts serving clients ranging from general contractors and subcontractors, heavy highway contractors, commercial real estate companies, REITs and real estate funds, affordable housing, and other related areas. My specialties include auditing, succession planning, strategic compensation, and ESOP advisory. I also assist clients in exploring innovation such as technology governance, data integration, and business intelligence. Many of my clients are large privately held general contractors and subcontractors, large heavy highway contractors, and engineering/design firms.
I enjoy my role as a business advisor to clients each and every day and am grateful that many consider me their business partner. I love the occasions where I’m able to reflect on successes with my clients and teams where we’ve made a meaningful impact together.
I’m a member of the AICPA, the Colorado Society of CPAs, Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA), and Institute of Certified Construction Industry Finance Professionals. Currently, I’m a board member of the Associated General Contractors and Colorado Youth Outdoors and am a past board member of Partners Mentoring Youth, CFMA Colorado and NOCO Unify, which positively impacts the lives of many children.
I was recently honored by NOCO Unity with a Hall of Fame award. I’m a frequent contributor to the CFMA’s national journal, Building Profits, and speak at local and national CFMA conferences. I received my B.S. in accounting from Colorado Mesa University.
I spend my free time with my family. My daughter is a competitive clogger, which allows us to travel to some great places to watch her compete. My son is a bowler, and we love to watch him compete throughout Colorado. As a family, we enjoy traveling, diving, fishing, and riding off-road motorcycles.
