My love of gardening came from my grandmother. When I retire, I plan to obtain my Master Gardener Certificate and help people in lower economic areas learn to grow their own food.

Experience

With more than 20 years of trust administration experience, focusing on special needs trusts, I work with clients to make sure they have effective plans in place to reach their lifetime goals and provide for their loved ones. I especially enjoy helping families navigate the issues faced by special needs children and adults to ensure they can live their best lives.

I started my banking career in commercial and retail lending but soon realized that rather than helping people spend, I wanted to help clients grow their personal wealth and plan for the future. Trust administration provided me with the opportunity to focus on financial planning and education for the families I served.

I’m a member of the West Michigan Estate Planning Council. I earned my B.B.A. from Davenport University.

Outside of work, my husband and I enjoy organic gardening, traveling, and spending time with our grandchildren.
