Experience

As a partner at the firm, I’m responsible for leading client audit engagement and consulting with clients on strategic business matters, including domestic and international acquisitions and due diligence. I’m well versed in supervising benefit plan audits, including defined contribution plans, defined benefit plans, health and welfare or VEBA plans, and related compliance engagement for benefit plans.

My client base is largely private equity organizations with some closely held and family-owned for-profit entities. Company sales go as high as $2 billion, with this number recently increasing to around $3 billion. I have significant experience working on group audits with activity in Asia, Europe, South America, Central America, Australia, and North America. I specialize in the assurance, international, distribution, freight forwarding, manufacturing, food and beverage, and employee benefit plan industries. My employee benefit plan clients are some of the largest benefit plans in the country — Fortune 500 companies and down.

My clients appreciate my responsiveness, dedication, expertise, and care for the audit, making it as pain-free as possible with no surprises. Colleagues know me for my technical expertise, including purchase accounting, inventory, equity instruments, and group audit organization.

I belong to the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society, and I hold a B.B.A. in accounting and management information systems from Judson University.

Outside of my work, I enjoy outdoor activities, including hiking, hunting, fishing, and fruit and vegetable production, and spending time with my family.
