As a principal in the firm’s transaction advisory services group, I provide financial buy- and sell-side due diligence for private equity funds and portfolio companies, focusing on the lower- to middle-market. My primary industry focus is commercial healthcare, including physician practice management, provider services, and multisite healthcare services, as well as business services, such as residential services, TPA/insurance adjusters, security, gaming, and consulting.
With over 15 years of professional experience, I bring a unique, balanced approach to engagements by managing and advising complex projects across various industries and specialties. Clients appreciate my collaborative, transparent approach that I bring to the deal process, providing proactive communication along with clear insight into key risks and findings. The transaction process can be emotional for both the buyer and seller, and I take pride in reading the situation, understanding what matters most to the client, and tailoring our approach accordingly.
I was attracted to transaction advisory because the work is fast-paced, dynamic, and different every day. I’m motivated by the value we bring to clients and by the knowledge that our work can have a deeply personal impact. Around the office, I’m known for being present, approachable, and a strong contributor to team camaraderie.
I’ve presented at our firm’s annual private equity deal execution training in Chicago on multiple occasions, sharing key insights with private equity clients on recent trends, risks, and drivers of a successful deal process. I hold a B.A. in accounting and an M.S. in financial reporting and assurance services from Michigan State University. I’m a member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA) and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Detroit chapter.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in Northern Michigan with my family and taking part in the activities of my two daughters, who love to dance, swim, ski, and play soccer.
