Experience

As a partner in our transaction advisory services (TAS) group, I specialize in buy- and sell-side financial due diligence for strategic and private equity clients. My responsibilities include leading diligence engagements across multiple industries and serving in an advisory role for clients working through a transaction process.

I specialize in providing quality-of-earnings reports and analysis for clients and targets primarily in the precision manufacturing, general distribution, specialty service, specialty healthcare, and environmental services sectors. Private equity groups make up the majority of my client base, but I also serve existing strategic clients of the firm who are pursuing mergers and acquisitions activity.

My clients appreciate that I value relationships over engagements and focus most of my time and efforts on being a trusted advisor throughout the transaction process. My colleagues know that I value the team more than the individual and am very invested in working on the practice, often as the loudest voice in the room.

With more than 10 years of experience in both due diligence and mergers and acquisitions, my greatest accomplishments include becoming a key member of growth in our TAS and management consulting groups for the firm. The TAS group has grown from six employees to over 50 since I’ve joined the group, and having the opportunity to be a mentor and coach to coworkers along the way is amazing.

I graduated with a B.B.A. degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and have been twice nominated for the ACG Detroit Rising Star award. I’ve participated in panels related to mergers and acquisitions and due diligence for ACG New York and AM&AA. In addition, I’ve presented on various financial and accounting topics for the firm’s private equity clients through group and one-on-one trainings.

On a personal level, my greatest accomplishments are marrying my wife, Lauren, raising our three amazing children, and being an example of the results of hard work and dedication. I spend most of my free time with them, and my interests and hobbies include golfing, weight training, and being a die-hard University of Michigan and Detroit Lions, Tigers, and Pistons fan.
