Ivan Hewines

As a senior manager with our firm’s National Tax Office, I specialize in complex partnership tax issues, such as partnership M&A transactions. I also consult with clients on a broad range of real estate and construction tax matters. Because of my focused expertise, I help educate and train staff and team members on partnership issues.

Prior to college, I was a small business owner who realized that accounting was my favorite part of the job. That experience has given me a unique appreciation for my clients’ businesses and a desire to see them be successful.

I belong to the Michigan Association of CPAs and the AICPA, and I graduated with a B.S. in finance from Oakland University.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, golfing, and spending time with family.
