Experience
I provide audit and consulting services to governmental entities such as cities, townships, counties, and special-purpose governments. I enjoy both the personal and the technical aspects of public accounting. I take satisfaction in assisting clients as they work through complex matters and prepare for upcoming GASB pronouncements, but what I’ve truly come to value are the long-standing relationships I’ve established with both clients and colleagues.
I’ve always enjoyed numbers, math, and puzzles. Once I discovered accounting as a potential career, it seemed like the perfect fit. I love the variability that comes with public accounting — working with different people, going to different places, and tackling new challenges.
I’m a member of the AICPA, Michigan Association of CPA’s, and American Public Transportation Association, and I have an M.S. in accounting from the University of Michigan (go Blue!).
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young sons — often playing catch in front of our house or exploring the outdoors.
