I learned to fly light aircraft before I learned to drive a car. Although health issues have prevented me from getting my pilot license, I’m equally at home among the clouds as on the roads, which is helpful with my frequent travel schedule.
Kimberly Pierce
Senior Manager

As a leader in our technology consulting practice, I oversee projects aimed at optimizing the enterprise application landscape for architecture, engineering, and construction clients. I specialize in guiding clients through digital transformation initiatives, including application strategy, software selection, and implementation advisory for prepackaged enterprise solutions such as ERP, CRM, construction management, HRIS, and payroll systems.

Clients appreciate how I match their business needs with effective enterprise solutions and apply my deep experience in data migration, integration, and user adoption.

Originally I intended to pursue a career in diplomacy, but an unexpected career opportunity shifted my focus to enterprise applications, unveiling my passion for helping companies solve complex problems using appropriately aligned technologies. Being in consulting has allowed me to apply my international relations background while also building meaningful, collaborative relationships with diverse clients. Over the course of my two-decade long career, one of my proudest achievements has been building a team known for its advanced, high-quality consulting services provided to our construction clients. Around the office, colleagues know me for my boundless energy, desire to support the team, and passion for serving our clients and industry.

I earned a B.A. in international relations from Michigan State University, and I’m an active member of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA).  I’m also a member of the Philanthropic Education Organization (PEO), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping women advance through education. I’ve presented at industry and vendor events on topics such as enterprise application strategy and the significance of enterprise applications within an organization’s data strategy.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our young adult children. While their hobbies like soccer and baseball infused our lives with fun for years, I’ve now transitioned to the slower pace of an empty nest by filling my time with books, piano, and hiking.
