I love animals. I volunteered for many years at a local no-kill cat shelter and consider it a great success that I only brought a few home. I actively resist the urge to greet and touch every furry creature I encounter.

Experience

I provide fiduciary guidance to help high-net-worth individuals and their families achieve their current and future financial goals. I collaborate closely with a client’s other trusted advisors to provide holistic support to their overall estate plan. While I specialize in estate settlement, I also provide ongoing trust administration on personal trusts and charitable trusts or foundations.

I enjoy many aspects of trust administration. I find it exciting that no two client relationships are the same, so I’m always learning and growing. During a grantor’s lifetime, I help develop solutions that add value or convenience to their lives. Upon their death, I help carry out their final wishes, hopefully easing the burden on beneficiaries during that difficult time so they can focus on what’s most important to them.

I have a B.S. in business with majors in finance and management from Indiana University at South Bend. I earned an M.B.A. from Grand Valley State University. I participate in the West Michigan Estate Planning Council.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, theater, concerts and Michigan football games. (Go Blue!)
