I’m passionate about the National Park System that Theodore Roosevelt worked to build over a hundred years ago. I’ve been fortunate enough to have taken several cross-country road trips visiting these amazing jewels of our nation.

As the leader of information technology consulting (ITC) for the firm’s public sector practice, I set the strategy for the practice, support our growing team, and ensure clients receive outstanding service. My focus is on providing independent and objective advice on best practices for technology deployment. Whether it’s a K12 district, city, county, water district, or special purpose agency, I help them improve their operations with the goal of meeting and exceeding their performance objectives. My expertise includes project management, facilitation, technology planning, the ERP software life cycle, and the selection and implementation of technology systems.

Whether I’m working with staff or my clients, when I “go the extra mile,” it’s almost always with someone — not something — in mind. When people are frustrated by their technology, I love creating moments of “wow” as we work together to find a better solution. People tell me I’m a great staff developer. Most likely, it’s because I’m an optimist, and I believe in people; I’m consistently amazed as to what people are capable of in the right environment, and I find fulfillment in watching them flourish.

I’m fortunate to regularly present at local conferences, and am involved with industry associations at the local and national level. I’m frequently asked to speak to my clients’ boards and governing bodies as they consider how to best invest in technology for the betterment of the constituents and communities they serve. I received my B.A. in accounting from Hillsdale College.

Family is most important to me. It’s incredible how much I learn every day from my wife and our amazing twin daughters. Humor rules our house. I hope to pass on my love of the outdoors, relaxing on the water, and wandering on a trail through the woods.
