Headshot of Matt Denman

I’m a bit obsessed with Air Jordan basketball shoes. I started collecting them when they began releasing retro editions and now own 17 different pairs, most of which will never be worn.

I provide tax and business consulting services to upper middle-market, privately held, owner managed, and private equity-owned businesses in the manufacturing and distribution and business service industries. I monitor industry developments in order to keep my clients current on tax law changes and items that matter to their businesses. In my role as the manufacturing and distribution industry tax leader, I help set the overall strategic direction for the firm’s M&D tax practice.

My clients appreciate that I always have time for them. Whether it’s the first conversation on a Monday morning or the last call on Friday evening, I’m going to give each business owner my complete attention. I’m happy to talk about any of their concerns from developing strategic alternatives and plans, business reviews, and internal control assessments.

Occasionally I present at industry conferences on tax-related topics. I discussed the various issues to consider when buying and selling a business recently as a panelist for the Capital Strategies and M&A Forum presented by Matheson Financial Advisors. I received my bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Toledo and my MST from the University of Tulsa.
