As a firm principal, I oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality financial statement audits. I provide clients with insights on accounting, risk, and internal controls, as well as actionable best practice recommendations to enhance financial reporting and business processes. Serving as a year-round resource for my clients, I ensure they receive the technical guidance needed to grow and navigate in an evolving business and regulatory environment. The majority of my clients are family offices and investment companies, including private equity, venture capital, real estate, and fund of funds, as well as not-for-profit organizations, such as trade and professional associations, arts and cultural organizations, and social service organizations.
Clients appreciate my reliability and transparency. I proactively address issues, adhere to timelines, and am always available to discuss questions and concerns as they arise. I strive to provide more than just a compliance service, offering meaningful recommendations and feedback to better position my clients for long-term success.
Since joining the firm in 2015, I have enjoyed watching clients and my team grow. From being involved in the first-year audit of an emerging private equity fund that now manages over $1 billion in assets, to working with a not-for-profit organization that received its first large federal grant, it’s satisfying to know I provided those clients with high-quality service and industry expertise. It’s also rewarding to encourage staff development and to help my mentees progress and excel at the firm. Around the office, I’m known for my technical expertise and willingness to lend a hand where needed. Both clients and staff members frequently reach out to me with questions on technical accounting advice specific to new transactions or complex arrangements.
I graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a B.S. and M.S. in accountancy, and I’m a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, attending concerts, and finding different ways to stay active.
