Although I specialize in audit and advisory services, I’m more than a CPA. I help clients achieve their strategic goals and resolve a variety of business issues.

In short, I help them make money — and then I help them keep it. I work closely with family- and foreign-owned businesses in manufacturing and the public sector, including municipalities, special government entities, water and wastewater utilities, and airports. I wear a lot of hats around the office. I’m the leader of our Cincinnati manufacturing team, the regional leader of our municipal and Japanese business services practices, and the partner-in-charge of the firm’s national airport practice.
I’ve been with Plante Moran for over 25 years, and I’m passionate about helping my team members achieve their goals. Each year we have a firm conference to celebrate our accomplishments and spotlight our new partners. My goal is to be thanked in as many new-partner acceptance speeches as possible — my current tally is 8 and counting.
When I’m not in the office, I’m interacting with the community. I have a strong connection to the University of Cincinnati, where I serve as an adjunct professor at the Lindner College of Business in addition to being on the board of advisors of the Goering Center for Family and Private Business. I’m also on the agency audit review committee for the United Way of Greater Cincinnati and the finance committee at the Heritage Country Club.
I’m a member of the AICPA, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants. I hold a BBA with high distinction from the University of Michigan.
I enjoy spending as much time as I can playing sports and taking family vacations with my two teenage sons. When they’re busy, you can find me on the golf course.
