I love analyzing clients’ problems and helping them create solutions. I have a math background, which helps since this field involves more math and analysis than one might guess. I also love getting to work with clients every day.
With more than 10 years’ experience, I lead the firm’s Form 5500 practice and have presented at numerous webinars, written articles, and spoken at various seminars on the topic. I received my B.S. in actuarial science and statistics from Central Michigan University.
I’m a former member of AICPA’s Form 5500 Proposal Task Force, where I worked to develop the AICPA responses to the Department of Labor and other governmental agencies’ two significant proposed changes to regulations and Form 5500. I’m a member of an ad hoc group of benefit plan service providers and Form 5500 preparers, which meets regularly to collaborate and discuss upcoming accounting and regulatory changes that help the participating providers deliver optimal service to their respective clients.
I have two small children, so most of my free time is spent with them and my husband. We love to travel up north in Michigan in the summer to enjoy the beaches, hiking, biking, wineries, and craft breweries.
