I experienced a 180-feet free fall on a RipCord, soaring through the air as my girls watched in amazement from below and my husband took a video — because he didn’t believe I’d actually do it!

Experience

As a leader in our tax group, I provide tax services to our manufacturing and distribution and community banking clients, specializing in entity selection, structuring, as well as tax planning for business acquisitions and sales. My clients range from closely held companies to internationally active clients with inbound and outbound transactions. When it comes to my clients, I operate with the belief that their needs will always come first. I aim to be responsive, and have a laser-like focus on exceptional client service. In addition, I’m always looking for fresh and new ideas that will improve my clients’ businesses.

With more than 15 years of experience, I’m proud of how I’ve developed a reputation as a working mother who balances the demands of my personal and professional life. I believe that my daughters will benefit from seeing me be successful in my career and as a mother — and I want to help other women achieve that level of satisfaction as well. This is why I’m invested in our internal Women in Leadership (WIL) initiatives.

Because of my expertise, I’m asked to speak to various industry groups. Most recently, I presented to the Michigan Association of CPAs (MICPA) on the topic of tax law changes. I belong to the MICPA, the AICPA, and the Michigan Women’s Tax Association. I received my B.B.A. from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

There’s not much downtime in our house. As a working mom with two active children in swimming, softball, and other activities, we stay busy. I also enjoy the outdoors with my family. We love exploring new places.
