I’m responsible for reviewing clients’ existing insurance policies and providing appropriate solutions to them based on their near and long-term financial goals and objectives. I primarily serve our tax, audit, and wealth management clients in the high-net-worth and ultra-high net worth space. Our team specializes in individual life insurance, annuities, long-term care insurance, and disability income insurance.
My clients appreciate that I take the time to listen to them and educate them on various insurance strategies to ensure they fully understand their options before making any decisions. At the office, I’m known as a friendly go-to technical resource for a variety of insurance planning solutions. I spend a lot of time consulting on annuities and life insurance for business continuation and business succession.
My grandfather started an independent insurance agency over 50 years ago, and I worked there for several years prior to joining the firm, so insurance has always been in my DNA. After more than 20 years of insurance industry experience, I’m lucky that I truly enjoy what I do, which is helping clients learn about insurance solutions and how they can play an important role in achieving financial goals.
Because of my expertise in the insurance industry, I’m often asked to speak at various events and have authored multiple thought leadership pieces. I earned my B.B.A. in finance from the Haworth College of Business at Western Michigan University. I hold Chartered Life Underwriting (CLU) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) designations, as well as a Series 6, Series 63 and state Life, Accident and Health insurance licenses.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and dogs, traveling, going to concerts and festivals, and playing tennis.
