I specialize in the automotive and manufacturing and distribution industries as well as private equity groups. With expertise in data analytics, IT design infrastructure and implementation, data centers, and business continuity, I’m always thinking of proactive and creative strategies to defend against the variety of security threats that companies face.
My background includes time spent in the technology provider space, the end-user environment, and with professional services organizations. Working as a consultant gives me the chance to leverage these experiences and keep me engaged. Information security is an area that is changing every day, which means each client poses new problems for us to solve. I pride myself on staying current and being the resource that my clients depend on.
Because of my passion to help secure our critical infrastructure, I’m a fellow with the Institute for Critical Technology (ICT). In this capacity, I speak about advancing insider threat programs, collaborate with those in the energy sector on enhancing protection of critical infrastructure, and author articles advocating for an enhanced partnership between the public and private sectors.
I frequently speak at industry association events, including for Evanta CIO, Evanta CISO, ISAC, HIMSS, ISSA, and the ICT. Past topics include protecting patient data using big data analytics, scaling data-driven security, and solving insider threats, cyber risk, and compliance challenges using next generation security analytics. I graduated from Lawrence Institute of Technology with a degree in electrical engineering.
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, traveling, and spending time in the field with my dogs. Now that our youngest has gone off to college, my wife and I are hoping for more free time for all of our hobbies.
