Brian specializes in helping ultra-high net worth and family office clients maximize the after-tax return of their investment portfolios while maintaining the ability to accomplish their non-tax investment objectives. He’s known for his practical approach and ability to work seamlessly with clients and their outside banking, financial, and legal advisors.

Brian’s practice focuses on income, estate, and gift tax planning for ultra-high net worth individuals and families, taxation of complex investment structures, and the net investment income tax. Most recently, his focus has been on performing tax due diligence on alternative investments and advising clients regarding advanced estate planning strategies.

Brian has recently presented to the tax section of the Oakland County Bank Association regarding the net investment income tax regulations. He has produced podcast and webinar content regarding a wide range of income tax-planning topics. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Northwood University and his master’s degree in taxation from Walsh College.
