I provide business advisory services, including audit, tax compliance, structuring, and planning, and management consulting services to clients ranging from owner-managed organizations to multinational private equity-owned portfolio companies.
I was initially attracted to this career for the ability to help various businesses and their respective owners thrive. My clients appreciate that I care, and I’m known around the office as someone who makes work fun and keeps (clean) practical jokes going in the office. I consider my family relationships and my professional relationships to be some of my greatest accomplishments.
With more than 15 years of experience, I’m often asked to speak to client boards on industry outlooks and updates. I belong to the Northwest Michigan Industrial Association, the Builders Exchange of Northwest Michigan, and the Michigan Oil and Gas Association, and I serve as treasurer for Sigma Nu Gamma Gamma. I hold a B.A. in economics and management and a minor in English from Albion College.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. I coach my son’s baseball team, and in the winter, our family spends Sundays downhill skiing. I also enjoy fishing with my son, boating, biking, and hiking, and enjoying the beauty of northern Michigan. Teaching and watching my kids learn and thrive is one of my greatest joys.
