My clients appreciate that I keep their best interests in mind. I genuinely advise them to not begin specific audits until they’re prepared to be continually audited. I also brainstorm with them on the most efficient approach to meeting their needs while getting a quality deliverable.
My greatest source of pride with our firm was establishing and growing our practice in the Rocky Mountain region. When identifying and understanding business opportunities, I’m genuine in all my interactions, and I consult with my clients to ensure moving forward is in their best interest.
In May 2020, I was appointed to the AICPA Information Management and Technology Assurance Executive Committee. I’ve been a national instructor for the AICPA’s SOC reporting task force, educating firms and companies on how to perform SOC audits. I’m often asked to assist in AICPA-related risk initiatives; for example, I assisted with both the CITP exam as well as the SOC certificate program and most recently have been asked to support the Privacy Task Force. I belong to the AICPA, ISACA, the International Association of Privacy Professionals, The International Information System Security Certification Consortium, the Denver chapter of the Information Systems Security Association, the Association for Corporate Growth, and the Colorado Technology Association. I received my B.B.A. in accounting and computer applications from the University of Notre Dame.
I spend time outside of work with my husband and two kids. We enjoy camping, hiking, skiing, venturing into the mountains, and traveling the world on vacations. Most recently, I joined a tennis team and am really determined to improve my game.
