I co-lead Plante Moran’s tax due diligence transaction support practice for private equity and strategic mergers and acquisitions. My clients know me for my ability to work on complex tax structuring and tax-planning projects related to mergers and acquisitions and for anticipating issues before they become problems.
I manage the tax work for numerous private equity portfolio companies, bringing to them my extensive experience in tax planning, research, and other areas related to tax minimization strategies. I also focus on ASC 740 tax provisions for single entities and consolidated groups and on international tax aspects for both inbound and outbound companies. I have a B.S.B.A. in accounting from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in taxation from Capital Law School.
