I specialize in tax planning, consulting, and compliance for both privately held and private equity owned clients in the middle-market. With more than 20 years of experience serving clients, I love being able to develop long-term relationships and be a part of my client’s growth and success. I spread my time between the food & beverage, manufacturing, technology, and service industries. Most of my clients are acquisitive in nature, fast growing and innovative.
Often my relationship with my clients leads to conversations beyond tax. I collaborate with experts across the firm to get the right people in front of my clients while quarterbacking the process to ensure the best client service possible whether it’s a complex tax issue or something else entirely.
With a passion for efficiency, I’ve helped develop tax project management tools that have been rolled out successfully across the firm. I enjoy the culture at Plante Moran; it gives me the opportunity to work with great people and have a lot of fun doing it.
I’m a member of the AICPA and the Illinois CPA Society. I received my bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Iowa.
Outside of work, I’m happiest spending time with my family, traveling and soaking up the sun on a beach somewhere. I’ve also recently taken up stained glass as a hobby.
